VetBioNet at XXIII National Congress of SIPI (Società Italiana di Patologia Ittica)

At the beginning of October, the project partner IZSVe presented a poster about VetBioNet aims and main activities during the XXIII National Congress of SIPI, the Italian fish pathologists association.

IZSVe involvement in VetBioNet will be mainly focused on the research and study of fish viruses, putting into practice the expertise alredy gained thanks to the activities carried out by IZSVe Aquatic Animal Virology Department.

With regard to VetBioNet TNA research projects, IZSVe will also make available its experimental aquarium, which has been declared suitable for working with fish pathogens (viruses, bacteria and fungi) by the Italian Ministry of Health.
